2 DAY WORKSHOP SYDNEY - January 28-29
Impro Supreme - Essentials
THE WORKSHOP
Physical/movement based impro theatre infused with dance, mime and clown.
Impro Supreme is an organic approach to improvisational theatre that right from the outset weaves together individual creativity, physical acting and narrative improvisation.
This two day workshop will introduce you to its essential elements: 1) individual physicality and creativity training following the Seidenstein Method; 2) choreographic scene composition; 3) dramatic/comic improvisation: 'body to fiction and back again'.
The approach connects with, and applies to, all forms of improvisation and theatre. Each participant will be able to work at his or her own level - experienced improvisers/actors and beginners alike.
The aim is to assist participants to (re)discover their own path to improvisational happiness on stage. To make it both more exciting and... easier!
THE TEACHER
Caspar Schjelbred is the artistic director of the Improfessionals in Paris. He performs and teaches internationally, mainly in Europe.
